We've tried other calendar products over the years, but these seem to have the greatest staying power. People keep these calendars. (Truthfully, how many calendars just get heaved out by the recipients?) They aren't as big as a wall calendar and they don't take up a lot of desk space. When I go to a client's house in July or October, 9 times out of 10, my calendar is on the fridge.
Drawback? The font is tiny; some find it hard to read. They are heavy, but so far the postal service has delivered them without asking for additional postage.
