When do you send out wedding invitations?

Wedding invitations are traditionally sent out 6-8 weeks before your wedding day. This gives your guests plenty of time to make hotel arrangements or let you know they won't be able to make it.

The exception being if you have a destination wedding or if friends or family are traveling from out of town. In this case, you should send out your invites around three months ahead of time so guests can book airfare, hotels, and make other arrangements to ensure they can celebrate with you. What should a wedding invitation say?

In general, your wedding invites should include the following details:

When should the RSVP deadline be for a wedding?

Your wedding RSVP deadline should generally be about 4-6 weeks before the event. You'll want to check with your wedding caterer and/or venue as well for their requirements on when they need the final head count. Give yourself about a week of lead time between your printed RSVP date on the invitation and the date when you give the venue your final guest count. This allows you to tie up any loose ends and track down anyone that may not have responded.

Can you rush my order?

To maximize quality and fairness for all customers, we are unable to rush production on your order. However, we offer several expedited shipping options during checkout. Already ordered? Please contact us to upgrade shipping.

Can you print my wedding guest addresses on my envelopes?

Yes! For wedding stationery, we offer guest address imprinting for an additional cost. This service is available online as a Coordinating Item inside our Design Tool.

What if my wedding date has changed?

Sometimes, life throws unexpected things at you and your wedding date has to change. No one likes to think about it happening, but it's good to be prepared for anything. Our customers can make various changes to their designs up until you approve the proof sample for printing. While Truly Engaging is unable to accept returns on personalized products after proof approval, we're here to help. Our team will work with you to make sure you have beautiful stationery for your updated wedding invitations.
