Valentines Day Ideas

Life’s greatest happiness is to be convinced we are loved. Victor Hugo

not everyone is naturally creative or romantic so it’s important to spend time thinking about how to convince them that oh yeah… you are truly, madly, deeply in love
let’s count a few ways
send flowers {always a sure bet. but don’t put all your petals in this basket.}
leave notes all day long! {but be original: use magnet letters, cut-outs, lipstick on the mirror, tucked into lunches, over email, hand-written, treasure hunt}
dinner in {could be hot dogs but make sure there are candles!}
dinner out {stalk it to make sure you get the best table…}
dinner theatre
surprise travel or gift
adventure date
concert
download or make a cd of songs they’d like
{have fun. be unique. step out of your comfort zone a little.}
Valentines Day is on a Sunday this year!
Not a day typically thought of as romantic… does that put the pressure on or take it off…?

Thanks for the ideas! I still don’t know what I’m going to do for my fiance yet! I think having Valentine’s Day be a Sunday makes it easier to do something, because we have the whole day, rather than just the evening…
